Join us and Charleston Social for Mahjong 101 — a night of learning, play, and connection. We will guide our guests through the basics with warmth, ease, and a welcoming, social approach that makes Mahjong feel simple, stylish, and accessible for everyone. But be warned, you just might become obsessed! Seats are limited and will fill quickly! Grab yours asap.

Mahjong - Guided Play

Intended for players new to mahjong but have already had an introductory lesson (Mahjong 101) or are comfortable playing a friendly game. There is no formal instruction at this event. This is simply a gathering of casual, beginner-friendly games at tables of four players.  Coaches from Charleston Social will be present to answer questions and facilitate tables as requested. Mahjong table setups provided. Players bring their own 2026 NMJL card or may purchase one onsite. Come solo or with a friend!

Community Coworking Day

A complimentary day of focus and connections. We will be hosting this open day for coworking, with focus blocks, a lunch break, and time for connecting with other local professionals. RSVP requested; email catie@thesapphiresuite.com to reserve your seat! Free WIFI, coffee, snacks, and a calm place for deep focus and productivity.
